Home Art Studio is a another fantastic resource for families looking to teach art in their homeschool.  Use these DVD's for a year long art program.  Each DVD is a holistic year long approach to teaching art, learning about famous artists along the way. 

I used Home Art Studio when my children were younger and we were just starting our homeschool journey.  We all loved the program.  I am not artistic AT ALL!!!  I knew I needed someone else to guide me on how to teach art and these DVD's did just that.  These are great lessons for the elementary years and the art work takes just long enough to be fun but not such a long art project to be overwhelming.  Most of the supplies are simple and easy to attain too.  I would purchase all needed supplies for the entire year - this gave me the freedom to pick whatever day was best to engage in an art project with the kids, without having to plan or purchase things.
